Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality of software products by identifying and addressing defects, discrepancies, and inefficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing, with hands-on experience working with cloud-based platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and reports to verify software functionality.
  • Conduct data-level validations, including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness verifications.
  • Collaborate extensively with engineering teams to leverage cloud services like BigQuery for data validation.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to efficiently test large datasets.
  • Automate test cases using Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow, along with BigQuery and SQL.
  • Analyze GCP cloud logs and create informative dashboards.
  • Detect, document, and track defects while providing regular status updates on execution/validation progress.
  • Facilitate defect triage with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/testing.
  • Proven expertise in cloud platforms, specifically GCP, and strong data validation skills.
