Full Stack Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Full Stack Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling secure, high-performance web applications in the travel domain.

Job Overview:

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for individuals who have expertise in Node.js and React.js. You will work across front end, back end, and database layers while integrating third-party travel APIs, architecting microservices, and building webhooks for real-time data flows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front-End Development: Build responsive front-end applications with React.js, Hooks, Redux/Context.
  • Back-End Services: Develop scalable back-end services and APIs with Node.js (Express.js/Nest.js).
  • API Integrations: Integrate external travel APIs (GDS, hotel, car, flight) and real-time webhooks.
  • Database Design: Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Performance Tuning: Implement caching strategies and performance tuning (Redis).
  • Security Measures: Ensure data and application security (JWT, OAuth2, PCI, OWASP best practices).
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.
  • Documentation: Document technical designs, workflows, and APIs.
  • Scalability and Efficiency: Monitor and improve scalability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • React.js Expertise: Strong expertise in React.js (Hooks, Redux, Context API, modular UI).
  • Front-End Proficiency: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, responsive design.
  • Node.js Experience: Solid hands-on Node.js with Express.js or Nest.js; REST API design (GraphQL a plus).
  • Microservices Architecture: Experience in microservices architecture and third-party API integrations.
  • Database Knowledge: Database expertise: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, with ORM/Query builders (Sequelize, TypeORM, Mongoose).
  • Caching and Indexing: Knowledge of caching, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Data Security: Strong understanding of data security, PCI compliance, encryption, authentication flows.
  • Agile Methodology: Agile/Scrum experience, Git workflows, and code review practices.
  • Travel Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with travel concepts: booking flows, PNR, GDS, fare/rate APIs, cancellations, amendments.
Good to Have:
  • TypeScript Experience: TypeScript experience.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
  • Docker and Kubernetes: Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Travel Data Caching: Experience with caching strategies for travel data.
