Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP development, working with MVC architecture and integrating various CMS and frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building dynamic websites and web applications that are scalable, secure and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Develop and maintain dynamic websites and web applications using PHP and MVC frameworks.
  • Work with databases, primarily MySQL, to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
  • Customise and manage CMS platforms such as Magento, Joomla and WordPress.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement responsive and interactive front-end features using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimisation and functionality.
Required Skills :
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MVC architecture and MySQL.
  • Experience with frameworks like Laravel and CakePHP.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms : Magento, Joomla, WordPress.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented and reusable code.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of web security best practices.
