Oracle Finance Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Financials and be able to provide expert-level support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Functional Support: Provide functional support for ERP Fusion Finance applications, including AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, IC, Tax, Expense.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and apply creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles and problems.
• User Management: Manage functional requests from the end-user community.
• Prioritization: Define functional request priorities, write functional specifications, and coordinate developments with technical teams.
• Updates: Review Oracle fusion quarterly functional updates, understand, map to business needs, test/validate cross-functional, and deploy them upon business confirmation.
• Reporting: Design and develop OTBI reports, FRC reports, and write basic data extraction queries using SQL.
• Integration: Support and manage all Finance and third-party integrations.
• Reconciliation: Establish/define reconciliation processes and reports and support business users during month-end and year-end reconciliation processes.
• Access Control: Design and define process-wise custom fusion roles and provide data access as appropriate.
• Bug Resolution: Work with Oracle support teams for application bugs/enhancements.
• Standardization: Encourage the business to use Oracle standard functionalities and reports.
• Translation: Map business requirements and translate these requirements into Oracle Applications functional specifications.
• Testing: Develop unit test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing of system enhancements or custom solutions.
• Service Requests: Work with Oracle to resolve service requests.
• System Life Cycle:
• Closing: Handle period closing and reconciliation processes between sub-ledger and third-party systems.
• Reporting Customization: Build and customize reports based on end-user requirements.
• Training: Train end-user communities on systems where applicable.
• Audit Participation: Participate in audits of system use, detect and collect issues, implement action plans, and coordinate actions.
• ITIL Support: Adhere and support existing ITIL service management processes, such as change management, incident management, and problem management.
• Servicing Level Agreements: Embrace and adhere to service level agreements agreed with the end-user community.
• Communication: Regularly communicate to users the status of support or enhancement requests.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with ERP support teams across other domains to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Solution Development: Work collaboratively with project teams and end-users to develop, test, and implement Oracle Cloud solutions.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is the minimum requirement for this position.
• Experience: 3+ years of Oracle Fusion experience related to Finance modules, 7+ years' experience working with Oracle Financial modules, 5+ years working with the implementation of Oracle Financial modules, and 2+ years working with supporting end-users of Oracle Financial modules.
• Skills: Ability to continuously coordinate with multiple parties and supervisors while maintaining independence, extensive experience in Oracle Fusion Modules, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Expense Management, Intercompany, Oracle FRS, OTBI, Working experience on FBDI and ADFDI, Experience with business requirements, technical analysis, and design, coding, testing, and implementation of customization within software environment.
