Job Title: Senior Frontend Developer

Kounsel is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our team responsible for crafting the frontend of our web applications. Your primary focus will be on optimizing performance and creating compelling data visualization experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing pixel-perfect UI from Figma and Zeplin designs
  • Integrating with our REST backend to retrieve and update data
  • Integrating third-party libraries, including Firebase, Mixpanel, S3, and GCP
  • Implementing responsive design web pages for optimal user experience across devices
  • Debugging and troubleshooting frontend issues for optimal performance
  • Collaborating with engineering team members to explore and create interesting solutions while sharing knowledge amongst the team
  • Collaborating with UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver new features, enhancements, platform improvements, and bug fixes
  • Recommending alternative approaches to solving complex problems and using new technology to achieve goals
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience with React application development
  • Experience with Next JS
  • Familiarity with Angular application development
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Material Design and using the Material Component Library
  • Experience with third-party library integrations, including Firebase, Mixpanel, S3, and GCP
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience working with design tools, such as Figma and Zeplin
  • Expertise in software development domain and principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployment architecture
  • Experience in Test Driven Development using testing frameworks
