Guidewire Tester Position

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Guidewire Tester. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and automation testing, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A background in test design, programming, and Git repository management is also highly desirable.

As a Guidewire Tester, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing. You will align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories, execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.

You will contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets. Additionally, you will collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently, follow automation best practices, and participate in peer reviews.

The Guidewire Tester role requires a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing, with a strong emphasis on type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript-based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
  • Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript-based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.
