Financial Services Specialist

This role entails providing bespoke investment and financial planning solutions to clients, encompassing an in-depth analysis of their financial requirements, development of tailored investment strategies, and ongoing portfolio management to ensure alignment with long-term objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
    • Conduct comprehensive consultations to comprehend clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, investment preferences, and time horizons.
    • Maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for investment-related inquiries and advice.
    • Regularly review and update clients' investment portfolios to ensure alignment with evolving financial goals and market conditions.
  • Investment Strategy Formulation:
    • Develop customized investment strategies and asset allocation plans based on clients' objectives, risk profiles, and financial situations.
    • Utilize financial modelling and forecasting tools to analyse investment opportunities and recommend suitable investment products.
    • Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and investment products to provide up-to-date and relevant advice.
  • Portfolio Management:
    • Oversee clients' investment portfolios, including monitoring performance, rebalancing, and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure all investment recommendations and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
    • Prepare and present regular performance reports and updates to clients, including performance metrics, market insights, and portfolio changes.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, transactions, and portfolio changes.
  • Clients Education and Communication:
    • Educate clients on investment concepts, market trends, and financial planning strategies to facilitate informed decision-making.
    • Provide clear and timely communication regarding investment performance, market developments, and potential impacts on clients' portfolios.
    • Organize and lead client seminars, workshops, and informational sessions on relevant investment topics.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with other financial professionals, such as financial planners, tax advisors, and estate planners, to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of investment strategies and best practices.
    • Assist in mentoring and training junior staff or new team members as needed.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investment management, financial planning, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of financial markets and investment products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in financial software, portfolio management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
