Job Description

State Street Global Alpha Data Platform is a cutting-edge technology that enables the loading, enrichment, and aggregation of investment data. As an Alpha Implementation Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing multi-asset class data from various service providers or data vendors, providing a holistic and integrated view of clients' holdings.

The platform reflects State Street's extensive experience in servicing complex instruments for its global client base and investments in advanced data management technologies. You will be an integral part of the Charles River implementation team, working closely with ADS Consultants to deliver high-quality consulting projects.

As an Alpha Implementation Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, testing, and deploying high-performance Java applications
  • Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
  • Writing well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues
  • Ensuring application performance, uptime, and scalability
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer with a deep understanding of core Java concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with version control systems like Perforce and Git
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience with active directory entitlement solutions
