Job Title: Citrix Administrator/Citrix Architect

As a senior virtual desktop solutions architect, you will design and implement cutting-edge Citrix technologies to drive business outcomes. Your expertise in solution design, integration, and configuration will ensure seamless delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services to provide comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solutions.
  • Configuring and managing Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments, ensuring proper image management, user profile management, and application delivery mechanisms.
  • Designing and implementing identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments.
  • Designing and configuring network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure secure and efficient data transfer.
  • Optimizing virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience by monitoring and tuning resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth.
  • Implementing security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • Designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss, creating redundancy mechanisms, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity.
  • Setting up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure, identifying and troubleshooting performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems to maintain a stable and reliable environment.
  • Creating design documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing management of virtual desktop solutions.
