Chief Quality Strategist

This is a senior test leadership role focused on the Channels & BFSI Domain. The successful candidate will have 18+ years of experience in testing, with the majority of this experience gained within the BFSI sector.

• More than 10 years of experience in testing channels, including retail, corporate, and mobile banking.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously across domains.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, Automation, and Performance Testing (PT) methodologies.

QA Leadership & Project Oversight Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for quality of testing and timely delivery of all QA deliverables.
• Key driver of test improvement initiatives across projects.
• Creation of test strategy, overall plans, and definition of resource requirements and technical skill areas.
• Interaction with client teams on project risks, concerns, and issue resolution.
• Reporting project status to the Delivery or Program Manager.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific and QualityKiosk processes.
• Consolidation and reporting of metrics for all project activities.
• Leadership of knowledge management efforts on the project.

Team Management & Delivery Responsibilities:

• Creation of test design, execution plans, and testing schedules.
• Assignment of tasks to team members and efficient management of workload.
• Tracking of project milestones and ensuring timely deliverables.
• Management of the offshore team, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality.
• Providing inputs/clarifications to the offshore team as needed.
• Tracking of new requirements and ensuring they are tested effectively.
• Conduct of daily defect discussions and ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensuring strict adherence to onsite-offshore processes and agreed timelines.
• Coordination with users for inputs, reviews, and approvals.

Quality Assurance & Reporting Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for metrics measurement and implementation across the QA lifecycle.
• Reporting on testing activities, including test results, test suite development, test case coverage, and defects.
• Ensuring adherence to testing processes and standards.
• Coordination with various client teams for UAT activities.
