Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our QA team in delivering high-quality products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring that all development tasks meet quality criteria through effective test planning and automation.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products, as well as leadership experience in managing teams. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, is highly desirable. Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers, as well as hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA team to deliver high-quality products
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle
  • Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria
  • Develop and implement effective test plans and automation strategies
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve product quality
  • Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations
  • Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases
Qualifications and Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products
  • Leadership experience in managing teams
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers
  • Hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications
  • Linux knowledge is required
  • Good experience on Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB is beneficial
