Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a skilled professional to spearhead our data-driven initiatives.

  • Design and develop robust, maintainable software systems to support data pipelines, analytics, and AI applications, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with end-user workflows and UX needs.
  • Collaborate with domain experts to scope, build, and iterate on AI-driven tools tailored to business needs, leveraging expertise in machine learning and data science concepts.
  • Develop efficient data ingestion, transformation, and validation pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern libraries, focusing on optimizing database access and performance for large structured and semi-structured datasets.
  • Integrate large language models (LLMs) and generative AI APIs into internal tooling, enhancing the overall user experience and data insights.
  • Create clean, intuitive user interfaces and data visualizations with libraries like Plotly and Dash, prioritizing user-centric design and usability.
  • Ensure tools are scalable, secure, and aligned with end-user workflows and UX needs, taking projects from concept to production, including testing, documentation, deployment, and iteration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with exposure to software engineering best practices, such as code quality, testing, and collaboration.
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
  • Experience working with data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data wrangling techniques, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, and data libraries like Pandas and Numpy, applying these skills to real-world problems.
  • Exposure to generative AI or LLM APIs and frameworks, integrating them into existing tooling and workflows.
  • Understanding of fundamental machine learning and data science concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, and dimensionality reduction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • User-focused mindset: you care about who's using your tools and how to make them intuitive, reliable, and useful, considering accessibility and inclusivity.
