About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and executing complex data platform initiatives.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Planning, executing, and delivering technical projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  2. Collaborating with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
  3. Developing detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  4. Leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  5. Tracking project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and reporting status to stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
