Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright, JavaScript, and Java to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using these technologies.

This role requires strong programming skills, solid knowledge of API and UI automation testing methodologies, and hands-on experience testing web applications and backend services in complex environments.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript for UI and API testing.
  • Utilizing Java proficiency to support test automation frameworks and backend service validations.
  • Conducting thorough testing of web applications and backend services to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Executing system testing, managing defect lifecycle, and reporting bugs accurately using test management tools.
  • Performing debugging and root cause analysis for complex issues in UI, API, and backend systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in QA test automation using Playwright and JavaScript.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, with experience supporting automation frameworks.
  • Solid knowledge of API and UI automation testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience testing web applications and backend services in complex environments.
  • Familiarity with system testing processes, bug lifecycle management, test planning, and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills, the ability to perform root cause analysis, and identify system risks. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also essential for this role.
