Market Analyst for Indian Equities

Based in Mumbai, Vikhroli.
The primary focus of this role is to execute equity trades on behalf of the company. This involves closely tracking market developments and communicating new investment ideas and recent market trends to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate market developments, interact with brokers, analysts & dealers to provide accurate information to the investment team.
- Closure of all equity trades in the system within specified timeframes.
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulations.
- Identify potential trading strategies and offer investment ideas.
- Support Fund Manager & Head of Investments in managing the Investment portfolio to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Assist the Investment team in daily activities.
- Support Fund Manager in MIS and other reporting tasks.
Qualifications: BCOM / MBA
Experience required: 2-3 years in the Indian equity market.
Functional and Behavioral Requirements:
- Good understanding of the Indian equity market.
- Strong market intelligence skills and ability to comprehend market developments.
- Good understanding of technical analysis.
- Basic knowledge of portfolio construction and review.
- Understanding of risk management in investing.
- Proficiency in Excel and PPT.
