The Role

This is a full-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Pune.

The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children with developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges. The OT will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance the quality of life for children and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's abilities using standardized tools and clinical observations.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and child goals.
  • Direct Therapy Interventions: Provide direct occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities and sensory integration techniques.
  • Family Collaboration and Education: Collaborate with parents to develop home programs and provide education on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members, including physicians, physical therapists, and educators.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in India.
  • Experience working with children with various developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and treatment techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
