Your Mission: In your first year, you will lead analyses and experiments that enhance core product metrics – match quality, time-to-hire, candidate experience, and revenue. You will focus on:

  • Defining key performance indicators for ranking, interview analytics, and payouts systems.
  • Designing/running A/B tests and quasi-experiments, translating results into product decisions within a week.
  • Building reliable dashboards and lightweight data models so teams can access answers quickly.
  • Instrumenting events with engineers, improving data quality and latency from ingestion to insight.
  • Prototyping efficient models (from baselines to gradient boosting) to enhance matching and scoring.
  • Evaluating LLM-powered agents: designing rubrics, human-in-the-loop studies, and guardrail canaries.

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of experience in data science/analytics or related fields.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort with experiment design and causal thinking.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to engineers, PMs, and leadership.
  • Nice-to-haves: dbt, dashboarding (Hex/Mode/Looker), marketplace or search/recommendation metrics, LLM/agent evaluation.

You will thrive in this role if you have a strong foundation in statistics, SQL, and Python, and are eager to iterate fast – framing questions, testing, and shipping within days. Your communication skills should be crisp, both in written and verbal form, and you're curious about LLM evaluation, retrieval, and ranking.
