Software Quality Assurance Engineer for Music Innovation

Anyone can listen for free via the Amazon Music app or Alexa-enabled devices.
Job OverviewThis position is responsible for driving our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies and reporting on test progress, metrics, issues, and risks. You will create high-quality test cases, Test Plan, and Strategy that are maintainable and effective. Additionally, you will be able to reproduce product defects and script failures to assist developers or other testers and identify, track, and accurately report defects found.
You will acquire knowledge of features and detailed functional requirements to execute assigned tests and find gaps in the test plan/test coverage. QA Engineers work with groups such as Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in manual testing, automation testing, API & Mobile testing, and designing/planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Feature release E2E.
- Create Automation script for new features and ensure stability.
- Write test cases for the new feature, modifying and maintaining existing test cases.
- Understand and ramp up on QA procedures, guidelines, and policies for newly launched features and apply them.
- Use software tools for QA, fix up, and data capture on a daily basis.
- Be proactive in identifying issues, deep diving, troubleshooting, communicating to stakeholders, and escalating issues and providing status reports.
- 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Experience in manual testing.
- Experience in automation testing.
- Experience in quality assurance engineering.
- Experience in API & Mobile testing.
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.
