**Linux System Administrator**

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Linux system administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the functionality of our information systems department to ensure the optimal operation of computer systems, telephony, and networks at our designated location.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux administration, including server management, user account management, backups, telephony systems, access control, cameras, communication equipment configuration, and cloud application management.

They will also be responsible for implementing projects aimed at identifying and evaluating new technologies/tools and implementing them as required.

Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT systems.

They will also provide dedicated support and maintenance for servers, user accounts, backups, telephony systems, access control and cameras, configuration and upkeep of communication equipment, as well as management of cloud applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented approach, with a focus on documentation and maintaining accurate records
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Linux Administrator, at least 3 years of experience. Basic knowledge on Security, backups and recovery tools and processes, Client Service, Antivirus, Network
  • 3-5 years of experience in supporting users through phone / remote session
  • Portuguese and Spanish proficiency
