Senior Software Engineer Lead

We're looking for a seasoned technical leader to spearhead the development of our software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Code Ownership: Take ownership of the codebase, ensuring it's maintainable, efficient, and adheres to industry best practices.
  • Pull Request Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards.
  • System Architecture: Design and implement scalable systems, considering performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
  • Technical Support: Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them overcome development challenges.
  • Code Auditing: Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to boost efficiency and quality.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for existing and new features.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture design.
  • Proven track record of leading/managing a team of developers.
  • Strong background in code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring code quality.
  • Able to architect systems and think holistically about platform design.
  • Experience delivering new features and product enhancements with a focus on quality.
Good to Have:
  • Experience with payment systems and payment gateway integrations.
  • Familiarity with video players, streaming technologies, and transcoding systems.
