Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to design and implement database solutions that meet organizational needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable database architectures, developing and maintaining database security policies, monitoring and analyzing database performance, implementing backup strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Database Architecture: Design and implement database architectures to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Database Security: Develop and maintain database security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
  • Database Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze database performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Backup Strategies: Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex database issues and resolve problems efficiently.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in database development in a large enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in administering databases such as Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble).
  • Strong knowledge of database design and data modeling principles.
  • Experience with integrating databases with ETL/BI software and ticketing systems.
  • Good understanding of Azure and Agile methodologies.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Azure DevOps.
  • ServiceNow.
  • Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble) coding.
  • Data modeling and database design.
  • ETL/BI software integration.
