Transaction Advisory Services Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Transaction Advisory team, providing end-to-end support to clients. This role requires a strong foundation in financial due diligence, quality of earnings reviews, valuation, and databook preparation, coupled with the ability to review outputs, manage deliverables, and coordinate with onshore teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workstreams on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
  • Prepare and review Quality of Earnings analyses, working capital and net debt schedules.
  • Databook preparation and financial variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform valuation support, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transaction analyses.

Collaboration with US Teams:

  • Act as a primary India contact for US engagement managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear communication of findings, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Deliver timely, well-documented outputs aligned with client and onshore expectations.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Review and sign off on deliverables prepared by junior analysts.
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members to enhance technical and process capabilities.
  • Manage project workflows, prioritize competing deadlines, and uphold quality standards.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Transaction Advisory, Due Diligence, QoE, and Valuations.
  • Hands-on experience with databook preparation, reconciliations, and financial modelling.
  • Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills (financial analysis, dashboards, presentations).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with US teams.
  • Ability to lead small teams, manage multiple projects, and maintain quality under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts overlapping with US time zones.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in Transaction Advisory / Deals / Financial Due Diligence / Valuations.
  • Prior Big 4 experience or exposure to offshore delivery models supporting US/Global clients is strongly preferred.
