Technical Documentation Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to create and revise critical documentation for our electro-mechanical assemblies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins, and temporary revisions that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Write procedures and functional descriptions by interpreting complex schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, including ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, FAA, EASA, and internal quality guidelines.
  • Apply knowledge of structured documentation formats like XML or SGML to deliver accurate and efficient results.
  • Utilize technical illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW to create high-quality visuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in technical documentation, including Simplified Technical English and data module structure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, computer science, or communications.
  • Proven experience in creating technical documentation, preferably in the electro-mechanical assembly industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, including ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, FAA, EASA, and internal quality guidelines.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with ability to interpret complex schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
  • Proficiency in technical illustration tools, such as Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
