System Scalability and Innovation Lead

We seek visionary engineers who can design and optimize complex systems for high-performance innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable cloud-native systems to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust architecture, ensuring fault tolerance, availability, and performance.
  • Work with software engineers and platform experts to design and implement repeatable systems that increase productivity.
  • Guide the development of Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and error budgets to ensure production services have reliability built into their design.
  • Provide production support, creatively solving challenging engineering problems across our technology stack.
  • Participate in a shared on-call schedule managed across Engineering.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce human error.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software development, with expertise in Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms GCP, AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with server-side software engineering (Python, Go, Java, BASH, etc).
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting, with a focus on performance monitoring and tracing instrumentation, and SLI/SLO/SLAs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent communication skills across technical stakeholders and business partners.

  • Ample experience mentoring engineers and leading code reviews.
