Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer to join our team as a LNG Tank Design and Analysis Expert. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex projects involving the design and analysis of LNG tanks.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on LNG tanks and cryogenic storage systems. They will be responsible for conducting engineering works, including overall structural analysis, based on specialized and in-depth knowledge and experiences on LNG tanks and cryogenic storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to analyze the structural behavior and integrity of LNG tanks.
  • Carry out Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI) analysis considering the vibrating motion during an earthquake.
  • Develop design specifications, calculations, and drawings for LNG tank structures.
  • Lead the development of engineering scope of work in Subcontractor's contract.
  • Directs the preparation of LNG storage tank engineering scope of work in Subcontractor's contract.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on LNG tanks and cryogenic storage systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards related to LNG tanks.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS, STAAD Pro).
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
