Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading project requests and guiding analysts on execution
  • Ensuring analyst output is client-ready
  • Reviewing analyst work for accuracy and consistency
  • Handholding teams on complex projects
  • Maximizing team productivity and adherence to quality standards

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Training analysts in spreading financial statements
  • Reading and interpreting information from notes/schedules accompanying financial statements
  • Developing analysts' concept clarity and ability to interpret financial data
  • Calls/emails for collecting pass due amounts
  • Understanding DSO and timely application of cash
  • Collating financial information and KPIs from broker reports, management call transcripts, and news articles
  • Overseeing journal entries, PO requisitions, vendor creations, and payment reconciliations
  • Managing non-PO & PO invoices and paying invoices within TAT
  • Managing T&E payments
  • Creating monthly/ad-hoc reports

Fixed Asset Management:

  • Accounting and reporting of organization's fixed assets
  • Ensuring accurate capitalization, asset disposal, impairment testing, and depreciation calculations

Team Management:

  • Goal setting and performance review of direct reports
  • Auditing team timesheet and tracker for completeness and correctness
  • Identifying training needs and providing training, coaching, and mentoring
  • Recruiting and retaining the highest quality talent into the team
  • Instituting knowledge sharing/best practice sharing forums
  • Preparing periodic performance, utilization, and efficiency reporting packages
