Our South Florida franchisee's (SFF-MBFS) M&A deal team is well-equipped to handle complex financial analysis and modeling tasks.

The Opportunity

This full-time, remote role as a Mergers and Acquisitions Financial Analyst offers the successful candidate a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in investment banking and M&A. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing historical and projected financial statements, conducting quality of earnings analysis, and providing analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions.

  • You will be involved in execution activities including data gathering, analysis, and material preparation, as well as taking responsibility for managing standard processes such as preparing deal documentation.
  • Developing marketing and support materials including executive summaries, confidential information memorandums (CIM), and management presentations.
  • Facilitating data requests from clients and supporting financial, commercial, operational, and legal due diligence.
  • Interacting with clients' senior executives and institutional financial sponsors.
  • Supporting senior team members in marketing/origination activities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work on multiple tasks.
  • Possess good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • M&A, capital raising, investment banking, accounting, or other relevant experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years investment banking work experience with a top-tier investment bank required.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction execution.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Masters degree or higher in business, accounting, finance, and/or economics.
  • CFA or working towards CFA designation is a plus.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
