Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management on content strategy and editorial planning.
  • Develop and curate high-quality content focused on education, careers, innovations, student initiatives, and campus life.
  • Contribute to conducting interviews and field reporting as necessary.
  • Coordinate with designers and digital teams for timely and quality content delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team of writers and interns to ensure quality and consistency across all content.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to plan and structure content for web and print editions.
  • Assign tasks, track progress, and provide editorial feedback to team members to help them improve and grow.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the company's editorial guidelines and tone.
  • Edit and proofread articles submitted by reporters, freelancers, and contributors for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • 8 – 12 years of experience in journalism, preferably with a focus on education, youth, or career-related content.
  • Strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills with impeccable grammar.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
  • Familiarity with digital publishing tools and social media platforms is an added advantage.
  • A keen interest in the education system and youth affairs.
