Experienced Java Developer Wanted

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team as a Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Core Java, Enterprise Java Technologies, and cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain products with technologies involving Enterprise Java and Distributed technologies on Cloud.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and business users in conceptualizing, estimating, and developing new software applications and enhancements.
  • Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software's objectives, business requirements, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with internal users and departments.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases, metrics, and resolve questions about test results.
  • Assist in the design and implementation process for new products, research, and create POCs for possible solutions.
  • Help develop components based on business and/or application requirements.
  • Drive Test-Driven Development with unit tests in accordance with team policies and procedures.
  • Work with cross-functional teams during crises to address and resolve complex incidents and problems, as well as assessment, analysis, and resolution of cross-functional issues.

Requirements:

Core Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science.
  • 8+ years of experience in Core Java and Enterprise Java Technologies.
  • Core Java (8+).
  • Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
  • Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular JavaScript frameworks (Angular 8+, React, Vue.js).
  • Proficiency in working with RDBMS (SQL).
  • Ability to develop SOA services and good knowledge of REST API and Microservice architectures.
  • Experience in Version Control System (Git), build tools (Maven, Gradle).
  • Awareness of DevOps (CI/CD) process.
  • Knowledge on Cloud (AWS) is an added advantage.
  • Experience with Eclipse, Maven, Gradle, DB tools, Bitbucket/JIRA/Confluence.
  • Experience with profiling, code coverage, logging, common IDEs, and other development tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies - SCRUM and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interface with Business, Analytics, and IT organizations.
  • Ability to work effectively in short-cycle, team-oriented environments, managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to identify non-obvious solutions to complex problems.

Compensation:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year.
