Job Title: Engineering Manager

Overview:

As an experienced Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers in building and scaling complex products and integrations.

Our systems are based on a microservices architecture, with a stack that includes Node.js, ReactJS, GraphQL APIs, multiple databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and multi-cloud deployments (AWS & GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers.
  2. Define and maintain technical direction for microservices-based systems and event-driven architecture.
  3. Guide engineers in building robust integrations with third-party platforms and internal services.
  4. Ensure best practices in API-driven development and system interoperability.
  5. Oversee cloud infrastructure across AWS & GCP, leveraging key AWS services for distributed and scalable systems.
  6. Manage data infrastructure with MongoDB and DynamoDB, ensuring efficient, high-performance queries and resilience at scale.
  7. Partner with Product and Business stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.
  8. Implement processes for CI/CD, observability, incident management, and cost-optimized cloud operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in Node.js, ReactJS, and API design.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations and e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of working with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and distributed data systems.
  • Expertise with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices in CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
