We are looking for a professional who can develop and execute effective communication and media relations programs, nurturing a strong industry network, increasing awareness, and creating an enviable corporate image.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing communications plan, including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics.
  • Create a media relations strategy, targeting high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.
  • Coordinate all public relations activities, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Direct the social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media platforms.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and establish new connections within business and industry media.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests, showcasing expertise and professionalism.
  • Generate content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations, highlighting the company's vision and values.
  • Analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis, providing actionable insights.
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Maintain strong relationships with thought leaders, growing industry awareness and recognition.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in public relations, with a proven track record of designing and executing successful campaigns at both local and national levels.
  • Established relationships with local and national business and industry media outlets, leveraging these connections for maximum impact.
  • Comfortable acting as a company spokesperson, exceling in both broadcast and print media interviews.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Solid experience with social media, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
  • Event planning experience, with a focus on creating engaging and memorable experiences.
  • A BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
