Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ship Management Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze various aspects of ship management systems and prepare documentation as needed.
  2. Understand and document client requirements, identifying gaps between user needs and system capabilities.
  3. Test and check functional aspects of modules developed by the team, producing reports and desired outcomes.
  4. Contribute to training internal and external users on ship management systems and related modules.
  5. Create software-related documents, including feature documents, help materials, FAQs, and workflow documents.
Ship Visit and Other Responsibilities:
  1. Arrange vessel visits for implementation, issue fixing, and training purposes.
  2. Assist vessels in data collection and update PMS data onboard.
  3. Train shipboard personnel on using ship management systems and other modules, including database backup and system recovery.
  4. Provide support to vessels and remote offices for ship management systems and related modules.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A 3rd or 4th engineer with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Shore experience in shipping management as a coordinator/controller, with a background in naval architecture and marine engineering.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise computing needs in ship management companies.
  • Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent typing and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous with attention to detail.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
