
Renewable Energy Business Development Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our renewable energy business development efforts in the commercial and industrial sector.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, developing strategic sales plans, and driving deal closures through third-party and captive renewable energy solutions.
- This role requires strong relationships with key decision-makers, market research skills, and a deep understanding of industry trends and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development and Sales- Develop and present competitive business proposals that align with customer needs and goals.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, sustainability heads, and procurement teams at target companies.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry policies, and regulatory frameworks affecting C&I renewable energy.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and meet business objectives.
- Coordinate with EPC partners, developers, and consultants to achieve project feasibility and successful execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10-12 years of experience in business development/sales in the renewable energy sector, preferably in C&I sales.
- Strong understanding of third-party/captive power models, open access policies, and PPA structures.
