**Site Reliability Engineer Role Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure roles and be proficient in one or more scripting languages.

The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems. They will work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure, improve system reliability, and automate processes.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards for system health, performance, and capacity planning.
  • Develop and implement automation for repetitive tasks, including deployments, scaling, and maintenance, to reduce manual intervention.
  • Respond to incidents, lead post-incident analysis, and drive efforts to prevent recurrences through detailed root cause analysis.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in infrastructure, databases, applications, and networking.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design systems that are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and optimized for performance and cost.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and improve delivery cycles.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, ensuring that systems are resilient and capable of fast recovery.
  • Monitor and forecast resource utilization and implement cost-effective scaling strategies.
  • Ensure that all systems meet or exceed security and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes. Provide mentorship and share knowledge with team members.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • 3-6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, NodeJS, Bash, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (New relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Code Pipeline, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Version control experience with Git and version control best practices.
  • Containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems, diagnose issues, and drive improvements.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience in scaling processes for growing product teams.
  • Exposure to working with Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams.
