">Infrastructure Engineer Job Description"> Job Role:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Provide high-quality IT infrastructure support to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of our datacentres, platforms, and corporate systems.
  • AIX Server management, including hardware and software upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • SAN and storage array management to optimize storage capacity and improve system performance.
  • Implement Backup, Replication, HA, and Recovery technologies to ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure AIX Server Security Management to protect against unauthorized access and data loss.
  • Manage and resolve issues logs, perform scheduled maintenance, and manage third-party support contracts.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and growth, and suggest and implement performance improvements and hardware/software refreshes.
  • Ensure the FNZ network and systems are internally and externally secure by following existing policies and procedures.
  • Participate in yearly BCP & DR tests, and document resilience and backup plans for all new builds.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • Degree qualified or equivalent industry certifications and experience.
  • AIX operating system administration skills.
  • Knowledge of automation scripting.
  • Keen interest in and knowledge of latest server and storage technologies.
  • Successfully implemented Infrastructure projects.
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative, drive change and new technologies and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients.
