Key Data Engineer Position

This position involves the design and development of impactful data visualizations, creation of data pipelines, and support for cloud-based workflows.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Looker, Snowflake, and AWS Cloud. Additionally, experience with Python and Pyspark is essential for data processing and analysis. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is also highly valued.

The selected individual will focus on developing impactful data visualizations, building and optimizing data pipelines, and supporting cloud-based workflows using Looker, Snowflake, AWS Cloud, and Python (Pyspark).

  • Create dynamic dashboards and data visualizations to meet business needs.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries in Snowflake for efficient data transformation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable Looker models and explores.
  • Support and maintain data pipelines in AWS Cloud, leveraging Amazon MWAA (Airflow) for workflow automation.
  • Utilize Pyspark for processing large-scale datasets as needed.
  • Occasionally contribute to infrastructure-as-code tasks using Terraform for cloud resource provisioning.

Additionally, this role requires a strong understanding of data modeling, BI best practices, and data governance. The selected individual will work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across all data workflows.
