Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to oversee the management of our cloud infrastructure for global customers.

This role involves providing 24/7 managed support for these environments, leading a team, and ensuring that customer service levels (SLAs) exceed benchmarks.

The successful candidate will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams, offering input and suggestions to drive success.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with partners to identify opportunities and collaborate on projects.
  • Maintain high-quality customer service by ensuring SLAs are met consistently.
  • Resolve issues through a holistic approach, focusing on complete problem-solving.
  • Review tickets and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise when required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, resolving issues with a hands-on approach.
  • Collaborate with customers via various channels, including tickets, calls, emails, and regular sync-up calls.
  • Evaluate team member performance periodically, providing constructive feedback to the team and HR.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in L3 technical support for cloud-first data centers or cloud support services organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and related technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise in Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and other cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems, such as Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Experience in managing a team of at least 4 people in a similar role.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
