We are seeking a seasoned Physical Design Lead to spearhead the implementation of complex integrated circuits from RTL to GDSII, guiding a team of engineers and defining design strategies to drive innovation.

About This Role:
  • Develop and execute design strategies that meet performance, power, and area targets
  • Mentor a team of engineers in physical design flows, EDA tools, and semiconductor technologies to ensure high-quality results
  • Oversee the timely completion of projects with stringent quality standards
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in physical design, including at least 2-3 years in a lead capacity
  • Expertise in industry-leading EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics
  • Thorough understanding of RTL-to-GDSII flow, timing closure, and power analysis
Favorable Skills:
  • Experience working with advanced nodes (7nm, 5nm, or below)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Tcl, Python, Perl) for efficient automation
  • Awareness of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) best practices
  • Understanding of statistical timing analysis and parasitic extraction principles
