Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud integration, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and manage data solutions on cloud platforms, ensuring smooth integration with data systems.
  2. Develop and manage Data Warehouse solutions, ensuring data storage, transformation, and retrieval are efficient and scalable.
  3. Build and maintain ETL processes using modern ETL tools, with a focus on automation and scalability.
  4. Write efficient and maintainable code using Python, Spark, and PySpark to process large datasets.
  5. Work with data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks to optimize data storage and processing, ensuring performance and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Use any RDBMS to manage structured data, ensure data quality, and optimize database performance.
  7. Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  1. 6-8 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  2. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  3. Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.
  4. Proficiency in Python, Spark, and PySpark for data processing and automation.
  5. Experience with Snowflake or Databricks for cloud-based data warehousing and analytics.
  6. Strong SQL skills and experience working with any RDBMS.
  7. Hands-on experience with any ETL tool to manage data pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in working with large-scale data architectures and cloud data ecosystems.
  2. Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for ETL pipelines and databases.
