Job Title: Lead Software Development Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced software development engineer to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive software development best practices to ensure code quality, automation, reliability, and performance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain tools, frameworks, and dashboards for efficient software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate with teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for technical improvement.
  • Promote continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices; automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Facilitate adoption of modern development practices such as test-driven development (TDD), pair programming, and code reviews.
  • Lead initiatives to improve engineering onboarding, knowledge sharing, and documentation standards.
  • Analyze engineering metrics (e.g., deployment frequency, mean time to recovery, code coverage) and provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, DevOps, QA, and product management to align on technical excellence goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of engineering practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Mentor and train engineers on writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: B.E Mechanical degree.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in biopharma equipment operations.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience in operational and process excellence.
