About Our Opportunity:

We seek an accomplished professional to join our editorial team as a senior market analyst. Your responsibility will be to cover global commodity markets, focusing on India.

As a member of our team, you will report directly to the commodities associate director and collaborate closely with industry-leading analysts and experts. We value reliability through personalized service and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly market reports on global commodities with emphasis on Indian markets.
  • Contribute to launching new commodity price assessments, defining price specifications, and gathering market insights.
  • Generate relevant market content, working closely with analysts in Africa and Europe.
  • Maintain strong client and industry relationships – ideally leveraging prior connections to foster continued growth.
  • Actively engage in business development, assisting account managers in sales processes by maintaining sales pipelines and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in steel or raw materials industries and/or markets.
  • Prior experience covering global commodities, particularly ferroalloys and bulk ores, as a journalist, analyst, or market expert.
  • Excellent interpersonal and impact skills.
  • Strong quantitative and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Exemplary written communication and analytical skills.
