Job Summary

This role involves managing insurance-related activities, ensuring compliance with taxation laws, and maintaining accurate records of premiums, claims received, and related provisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure, renew, endorse, and settle policies for the organization's portfolio.
  • Maintain and update the insurance register, ensuring accurate records.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies, brokers, and departments to ensure timely policy issuance and claim documentation.
  • Accurately account for insurance premiums, claims received, and related provisions.
Tax Compliance:
  • Deduct and deposit Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) as per applicable laws.
  • Prepare and file TDS returns within statutory deadlines.
  • Address vendor queries and ensure PAN compliance.
Accounting Support:
  • Process day-to-day accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, journal entries, and petty cash.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reconciliation statements for banks, vendors, and ledgers.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and provision entries.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Solid knowledge of insurance policies, terms, and claim procedures.
  • Working knowledge of TDS provisions under the Income Tax Act and e-filing procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
