Game Developer Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and creative intern to join our game development team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the game industry and work alongside experienced professionals.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will have the chance to work on various aspects of game development, including concept art, character design, environment creation, and UI elements. They will also participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and enhance the visual experience of our games.

  • Assist in creating high-quality 2D art assets, including characters, environments, props, and UI elements.
  • Collaborate with the art team to develop and maintain the visual style and aesthetic of our games.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas to improve the visual experience of our games.
  • Work closely with game designers, animators, and developers to ensure that art assets are implemented correctly and meet technical requirements.
  • Assist in creating concept art and sketches to visualize ideas and iterate on designs.
  • Perform quality assurance on art assets, ensuring they meet our high standards and are consistent with the game's style.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques in 2D art and apply this knowledge to your work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing 2D art skills, including character design, environment design, and UI elements.
  • Foundational skills in storytelling through pose and composition.
  • Proficient in digital inking and rendering techniques.
  • Understanding of concept art, including illustration and design.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, Maya, and Max.
  • Passion for games and willingness to grow within the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
