Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure.

To be successful in this position, you must have a strong background in software development, with experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. You should also be proficient in various programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, and Python.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and other tools.
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting complex system issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and security in all aspects of the job.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in DevOps.
  • Expertise in Infra as Code technologies like Terraform.
  • Proficiency in container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes.
  • Good experience with agile software development in Java, JavaScript.
  • Experience configuring, administering, and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with Linux administration, scripting, and Python.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of AWS SDK CLI, Code Deploy, and other services.
  • Experience with monitoring solutions like Nagios, Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Familiarity with build tools for Java and JavaScript.
