Infrastructure Engineering Expert

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineering Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and architecting new solutions to improve agility for managing hundreds of microservices infrastructures.

  • A strong believer in automating DevOps & SRE aspects like infrastructure provisioning, deployment, observability, incident lifecycle, uptime SLA etc.
  • Bold to challenge, open to getting challenged, curious to learn & grow

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and architecting new solutions to improve agility for managing hundreds of microservices infrastructures
  • Working with Kubernetes clusters hosted in AWS
  • Using InfrastructureAsCode tooling like Terraform and Ansible to manage AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes resources
  • Engaging with development teams throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale
  • Troubleshooting priority incidents, facilitating blameless post-mortems, and ensuring permanent closure of incidents
  • Performing analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to predict issues and take proactive actions
  • Building and driving adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns
  • Designing automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
  • Designing, coding, testing, and delivering software to automate manual operational work, owning tools and services end-to-end
  • Performance and cost optimization for infrastructure
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for the team's tooling and 24x7 support coverage as needed
