Job Overview

The Security Incident Responder plays a vital role in safeguarding clients' assets and protecting the integrity of client systems and data.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Incident Response team to effectively handle security events.
  • Direct monitoring, management, and response of security events, as well as cyber intelligence initiatives.
  • Analyze security incidents to determine their cause, scope, and impact, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Document incident response activities, including findings, actions taken, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to stay ahead of emerging risks.
  • Participate in security incident response exercises and simulations to test and refine response plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on security incident response procedures and techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address security gaps and weaknesses in our systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate independent work habits, prioritize tasks, and proactively identify areas requiring additional attention or maintenance.
  • Understand laws, regulations, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines governing SOC IR.
  • Experience creating and updating PowerShell scripts for Active Directory and Azure AD, as well as O365.
  • Verify client remedial actions, providing feedback and verifying fixes to highlighted security issues.
  • Maintain proficiency in computer network exploitation tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
