Remote Backend Developer Position

This is a part-time freelance opportunity for an experienced backend developer to work with top developers in the industry.

Job Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated individual with 6+ years of experience in Python programming, strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, and solid understanding of system design and architectural principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Software Applications: Utilize Python to create scalable software applications.
  • Apply OOP Principles: Implement object-oriented programming principles to create modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
  • Contribute to System Architecture: Participate in system architecture and design discussions for scalable solutions.
  • Optimize Data Structures and Algorithms: Implement and optimize data structures and algorithms to enhance system performance.
  • Work with Databases: Collaborate with relational and/or NoSQL databases to ensure efficient queries and optimized storage.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) for end-to-end delivery.
  • Code Reviews and Testing: Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Python Programming: Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • OOP Concepts: Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
  • System Design and Architectural Principles: Experience with system design and architectural principles.
  • Data Structures and Algorithms: Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Database Design and Optimization: Proficiency in database design, optimization, and query writing (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Software Development Best Practices: Familiarity with software development best practices, Git, and Agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
