Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our solar project execution team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation and operation of our solar power plants.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles, with a focus on solar project development. You will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting mechanical design drawings, preparing site-specific mechanical drawings, conducting structural stability checks, and verifying MMS foundation positions.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve site-level challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and Interpret Mechanical Design Drawings
  • Prepare Site-Specific Mechanical Drawings
  • Conduct Structural Stability Checks
  • Verify MMS Foundation Positions
  • Support Fabrication, Welding, and Erection Quality Checks
  • Provide Design Clarifications/Modifications at Site
  • Maintain Proper Documentation of Design Revisions, Approvals, and As-Built Records

Requirements:

Education: B.E./B.tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)

Experience: 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design and site execution (solar/renewable/industrial projects preferred)

Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design/drafting tools; Strong knowledge of MMS, trackers, and steel structures used in solar projects; Understanding of IS/IEC codes, wind load standards, welding/fabrication practices; Ability to perform basic structural calculations for MMS and support structures
