Job Title: Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in optimizing supply chain excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Market Trend Monitoring: Monitor market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends and regulations relevant to procurement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using purchasing software and MS Office.
  • Analytical Skills: Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
