Machine Learning Engineer Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop predictive and analytical models using machine learning techniques, and validate their performance.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to define data requirements and success metrics for model deployment.
  • Implement ML Ops best practices for deploying machine learning models into production.
  • Build automated pipelines for model training, testing, monitoring, and retraining, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Monitor model drift, performance degradation, and implement continuous improvement.
  • Implement CI/CD practices for machine learning workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) for developing machine learning models.
  • Experience with ML Ops tools/frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML) for efficient model deployment.
  • Good understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines, APIs) for handling large-scale data.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for model deployment and management.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for scalable model deployment.
  • Strong background in statistics, machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation techniques for accurate model development.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient workflow management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field for a solid foundation in machine learning principles.
  • Experience in handling large-scale data pipelines and real-time model serving for high-performance applications.
  • Exposure to feature stores and automated model monitoring for enhanced model performance.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for effective collaboration and decision-making.
